Nisbet Plantation Gives Thanks

On behalf of the ladies and gentlemen at Nisbet Plantation, we are thankful for our wonderful guests who chose to spend Thanksgiving with us in Nevis. With our Thursday Night BBQ, cooking class and mixology lesson, we had a great time kicking off the festive season!

Thursday Night BBQ

The only thing better than relaxing days at Nisbet Plantation are lively evenings under the stars. Our Thursday night BBQ is always a popular event, but for Thanksgiving, we had a special time dining, dancing and giving thanks.

Guests “gobbled” up delicious Thanksgiving fare with an island twist, including Pastry Chef Danilo’s celebratory watermelon carving and traditional pumpkin pie.

Cooking Class

In our open-air setting, guests learned insider tips and tricks for preparing Caribbean cuisine during a culinary demonstration. We had a wonderful time bringing local Nevisian flavors to life with our mahi-mahi and avocado salsa, fried plantains and salad tossed in a refreshingly delicious honey-citrus dressing.

Mixology Lessons

Bartenders Dan and Kaddy shook things up for Black Friday, creating a colorful combination of festive cocktails – the red Nisbet Beach Martini and green Nevisian Sunset. Our guests were delighted as the duo demonstrated the basics behind some of their favorite creations.
