How far is Nisbet Plantation from town?

The capital of Nevis is Charlestown, a 15-minute drive from the resort. A taxi is about $22 one-way for up to 4 people.

Charlestown offers some of the best shopping on Nevis, and is home to The Artisan Village, where you can browse a variety of local handicrafts, souvenirs and small businesses (many of these vendors will also be at our Thursday night BBQ). You can visit the birthplace of U.S. Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton, which has been converted to a museum.

During the day, sports clothes, shorts and sundresses are acceptable. In the evening, dress is smart casual. Gentlemen may wear long pants or knee-length dress shorts, closed shoes, and collared shirts (no jeans). Jacket and tie are not required. Ladies, flat or wedge shoes are recommended as heels tend to dig into the lawn.
