Nisbet Plantation Beach Club has received recognition as one of the 2013 10 Best Hotels in the Caribbean by U.S. News & World Report.
The 2013 Best Hotels are calculated based on the aggregate opinion of travel experts and guests expressed through awards, recommendations and ratings.
Nisbet Plantation is ranked #6 in the Caribbean and is the #2 Best Hotel on St. Kitts and Nevis. The editors at U.S. News commented that our Nevis resort “holds a spot on this list for its unique character. This former plantation dates back to the 1700s, and its richly appointed rooms exude a sense of history with authentic Caribbean décor. If you’re looking for a traditional island experience, this is the place for you.”
While our historic charm makes us unique, we believe what makes us special are our staff members. We’re so proud of the ladies and gentlemen of Nisbet Plantation who truly love welcoming guests to our island and sharing the best of Nevis with them.
To create this year’s rankings, U.S. News factored in the prominence of industry awards a hotel receives along with its reputation among travel experts and guests. In total, 273 Caribbean hotels were analyzed for the 2013 rankings. Only a fraction of these scored high enough to be named Best Hotels by U.S. News.
“This is our third year ranking hotels, and the bar continues to climb for luxury properties,” said Chad Smolinski, Vice President of Rankings and Reviews at U.S. News & World Report. “Desirable amenities and hotel loyalty programs will no longer suffice. People are seeking hotels that go above and beyond to give their guests an unforgettable experience. Hotels that consistently meet the high expectations of experts and travelers are recognized in our rankings.”
