Twenty-five years ago, bartender Dan Perkins greeted our very first guests with a Rum Punch cocktail, now the signature drink of our intimate plantation inn.
To celebrate our 25th Anniversary year, Dan is delighted to share his special Rum Punch recipe with you.
Rum Punch Recipe
1 oz dark rum
1 oz sugar syrup
1 oz lime juice
Nutmeg (to taste)
Angostura bitters (to taste)
Cherries and orange wedges (for garnish)
Mix the dark rum, sugar syrup and lime juice together in a punch bowl or blender. Pour over ice. Garnish with nutmeg and Angostura bitters. Drop in a cherry and add an orange wedge to the side of each glass (serves 2).
*Note: A Rum Punch is best served at Sea Breeze Beach Bar and pairs well with sunshine and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
