Nevis’ Finest Restaurants

Just as Nevis is currently a top contender for the Best Caribbean Destination for Food in the USA Today Travel 10Best awards, recent guests’ experiences at our three authentic Nevisian restaurants reaffirms the island’s culinary excellence.

One of America’s premiere food writers and critics, John Mariani, notes that dishes at the Great House are all “so good and out of the ordinary for a Caribbean restaurant.” Serving from a menu that changes nightly, this is truly an honor. What’s more, our talented chefs are always willing to accommodate any special request or dietary need.

Vegan Cuisine

Nisbet Plantation recently hosted a vegan group, EarthLight, for ten days. Our wonderful chefs were delighted by the culinary challenge to prepare an entire gourmet menu of vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Each morning, the group gathered at Coconuts for breakfast. The breakfast ladies served a healthy gluten-free meal, delivered with the usual side of love and smiles. The guests especially enjoyed the pumpkin pancakes with custard and fruit compote.

“Everything was presented elegantly as well as timely. It was, of course, delicious!” -Messner & West

Thanks to the flexibility and innovation of our chefs, customized meals extended through dinner in the Great House. Guests savored unique Caribbean fare from the Coconut Crusted Avocado appetizer to the Tofu and Asian Vegetable Chop Suey over Brown Fried Rice. A favorite dessert selection was Chef Toni’s special of Carrot Cake. We’re delighted that the EarthLight members were so pleased with each meal.

Flexible Dining Offerings

Do you or your travel companions have any special dining requests or dietary restrictions? Simply let us know. No request is too big or too small for our talented chefs.
